Billogram is a Swedish B2B fintech company offering a digital billing platform to enterprise clients within telecom, insurance, and energy. The company’s product automates the billing process, while helping clients build stronger relationships with their customers. As the company evolved from startup to scale-up, the brand needed to mature. Our goal was to reposition Billogram as an enterprise SaaS company while staying true to the friendly and human idea that it always pays off to treat people well.
As Brand Designer and Strategist I worked closely with the in-house marketing team as well as external design resources. My responsibilities included creative guidance as well as internal communication and education within the scope of the brand roll-out.
The new design concept introduced a simplified and structured identity based on a refined color palette, a clear grid system and consistent use of typography. Purple was kept as Billogram’s primary color, but with a slight shift towards blue on scale. The new palette included accents, adding playfulness without undermining the brand’s trustworthiness. Inter, an open-source typeface, was chosen for its legibility across both print and digital. To balance the “techy” nature of the product, Illustrator and Art Director Gunilla Hagström was commissioned to create over 200 handdrawn illustrations. Drawing inspiration from pencil and charcoal textures, the illustrations add warmth and a humanized touch.
Since late 2024, the new visual identity has been gradually rolled out across communication channels, website, event material, and in marketing templates. The rebrand turned Billogram’s visual communication into a cohesive, enterprise brand with clear visual communication. The new system improved clarity and consistency across channels and established a foundation for future scalability, both visually and strategically.
